Music from the sea!
Krka National Park
Plitvice Lakes National Park
Discovering that the sea can produce music is amazing. An MSC Mediterranean cruise will accompany you to Zadar, a place where it is possible to be lulled by the sound of the waves entering and leaving the 35 rods of the famous Sea Organ. An unforgettable expe-rience "that takes you back to the moment it took you forward”.
Zadar, the ancient capital of Dalmatia is a blend of historical periods. The many peoples that reigned over Zadar have left marks still visible today; past and recent trends displayed in the surrounding landscapes of parks, marvellous islands such as the Kornati archipel-ago, and enchanting beaches.
An MSC Excursion will take you to explore the Krka National Park. Its famous waterfalls, rocks, and caves can be toured thanks to a system of bridges and marked paths through-out the park. You can also take a dip in the waters of the lakes surrounded by lush trees and bushes. The park also offers boat trips and tours of characteristic villages.
On another MSC Excursion, you shall discover the Plitvice Lakes National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a water system comprising of sixteen lakes and a large number of water mirrors joined together by canals and waterfalls. A blue and green land-scape will be the setting of your walks on wooden walkways suspended over the water.
Sant’Anastasia, the cathedral of Zadar, is one of the destinations of an MSC Excursion. It is the largest church in Dalmatia, built in Romanesque style over many sessions between the ninth and thirteenth century. It conserves the relics of the patron saint of the city, in a marble sarcophagus. If you are a fan of natural landscapes do not miss going up to the top of the bell tower, from which you can admire the whole of Zadar, the Adriatic Sea and the nearby islands.
